Aaron
From English 194 Wiki Site
""Aaron"" is an artificial creativity program developed by Harold Cohen for the purpose of creating works of visual art. In its most common form, the art comes out as a digital replication of the medium of painting.
Aaron has its creative limitations, though:
- in its current edition, it makes only very specifically stylized renditions of people and/or plants... effectively makings its creativity highly limited
- it is a coded creation, effectively making it have a limited amount of final product paintings that it can produce
Some of the ways Aaron can be effectively more creative than natural intelligence are:
- the amount of possible permutation is so intensely large that realistically the same painting will never be produced twice
- Aaron can create a new painting every few seconds, making it more productively creative than human artists
