Karl Marx, a German economic and social philosopher, writes manuscrips about how communism is a resolution to property, labor, social inequalities that lead to alienation. There are certain themes described in the manuscritps including:

Land/labor/wealth
1. privatization is subjective, external to the self
2. person's is subjective
3. those who have think they are being objective, that it comes to them
4. externalizing alienates self as land/labor have essence which exists outside the self
5. ownership being incorperated into person, creates the subjective idea of person's essence
6. when people's being doesn't correspond to thier essence they are alienated
7. the powerlessness the subjected feel when cannot control one's own activities
