Object Example
From English 194 Wiki Site
Description/summary of object item goes here [with image, screenshot, or thumbnail as appropriate and within "fair use"] (the name of the object should be the title of the page itself). An "object" is anything concrete--e.g., a software program, Web site, book, article, film, song, video game, business or technology initiative, law, court case, art work, etc.--that has paradigmatic value for the issues addressed in this course. The description/summary of the object should be fairly brief (about a paragraph). It may quote other sources with attribution, but in the main it should be an original statement or synthesis. That is, it cannot just be copied from somewhere else. The description should end with a very short list of "starter links or citations" referring to the Bibliography (formatted as follows). It must also include your signature/date (created automatically if you use four tildes ~~~~. Also, it must include at the bottom of the source code for the page the following code, which tells the wiki to collect the page automatically on the Objects category page: [[Category:Objects]]. Click the "Edit" link for this glossary example to see the source code.Starter Links or Citations:
