The Darwinian Theory of Natural Selection states that organisms with more dominant individual traits are more capable of surviving in their natural environments, and as a result, are more likely to reproduce. The organisms with less dominant traits will be less capable of surviving in their natural environments, and will die earlier, thus reproducing less on average than the dominant organisms. The Darwinian Theory of Natural Selection brings this observation to a wider scope by positing that the species that have more dominant traits will survive longer through time than the species that do not have dominant traits.
