Biography

Brooke Birrenkott

"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is a beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is life, fight for it!" - Mother Teresa -

Brooke Birrenkott is a third year English major with a specialization in LCI and a double minor in Applied Psychology and Spanish. She is originally from Carlsbad, California. She was a cheerleader for almost a decade and loves to sing (gospel choir woohoo). Her particular interests include war, criminals, modern literature, the concept of alienation in association with urban city life, religion, psychological disorders, people, the black world of the military, film, and more (not enough room). After graduating she desires to go to school and get a higher degree, but she is not sure exactly in what (because she has passion for almost EVERYTHING-yes, its frustrating). Prospectives include Law school, further studies in English literature and possibly getting a higher degree in Psychology. Beyond that, she desires to join the FBI and work her way up to an editor/writer for the FBI or a criminal profiler. Ideally, she would love to be secretary of defense, but that's not very likely. Thank you.

On English 194: "This class provides a means for twelve individuals to research particular areas of interest. Because of the freedom of the topics, there is a strong necessity for self-initiative work which parallels the real world."

For this website Brooke Birrenkott has written Autonomous Weaponry and Relationship Between Mental Disorders and Creativity: Research Report.
